Love my enemies, bless them that curse, do good to those who abhor <br />This is what the Bible says in the scripture Matthew 5: 44 <br /> <br />Pray for them who despitefully use and persecute me is what is says, too <br />That is a challenge that, though it can be done, it is very hard to do <br /> <br />I love this scripture with passion and it has become of way of life for me <br />It taught me what Jesus meant on the cross when he said in Greek, "Aphiemi." <br /> <br />When your enemies do you wrong, they really don't know what they are doing <br />It is better to free yourself and them by forgiving, than revenge seeking and pursuing <br /> <br />Those enemies that curse you, use you, persecute and on you they love to hate <br />They are not the real enemy you should be fighting against anyway <br /> <br />Our real enemy is in high places in the spiritual realm <br />It is with spiritual weapons that we have to fight the real one at the helm <br /> <br />For those who curse, hate and try to use you right in front of your face <br />You can love, bless and pray for them ‘cause God has given you the grace <br /> <br />The more you exercise these godly principles, you will see the benefit all the more <br />Maybe just like me, you will begin to love the scripture Matthew 5: 44<br /><br />Deidre Blair<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-love-matthew-5-44/
