Vegas, notorious as the city of sin, <br />My sweet city of paradise, <br />Where all can play in sinful delight. <br />Towering hotels and painted palm trees <br />line the strip where we pretty girls walk the night. <br /> <br />Beauty queens owning the streets, <br />Getting handed our dreams on plates of gold. <br />Loving us is free, we can get it anywhere, <br />But right here & now is what we want to know. <br /> <br />Living at that old school vintage Flamingo, <br />Pink and white lights shine it up bright. <br />Wearing our bikinis, meeting strangers at the poolside, <br />Drinks for free, rock and roll <br />Give us love drugs, come to our floor. <br />Show them a cunning smile, turn the music up. <br /> <br />White lines on the table for the blow kings and queens, <br />Hotel room, Vegas party like on the silver screen. <br />Running down the hallways, roaming with new friends, <br />Call us up a classy limo with a dance pole in the middle. <br /> <br />Got some mad sugar daddies on our hands, <br />Pushing $100 cash on our pretty club fares, <br />And I sing to myself 'cash comes quick when looks can kill' <br />Like the queen Del Rey sings 'nothing more gorgeous than a hundred dollar bill'. <br /> <br />Living hard on days and nights like these, <br />Makes hell a playground for darling angel beauties. <br />Give us the fire, we can handle the heat, <br />We know what we do, and we do it well. <br /> <br />No morale to dictate the confusion in my soul, <br />I can be whoever I want, I can even be me. <br />I take stage to my own show and I shine, <br />Smiling and divine in the lime light. <br /> <br />You see, here in the land of aesthetics and glam <br />Of money and luxury, sunshine and pretty lights at night, <br /> I feel free.<br /><br />Leah Ayliffe<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/paradise-city/
