It's a night, covered by darkness. <br />Stars are nowhere to be seen. <br />The moon can't fight for light. <br />The wind is blowing so strong. <br />The houses are floating in the sky. <br />Children are crying, mothers are crying. <br />Fathers are dying. <br />Storytellers, poets never mentioned anything about this. <br />Future tellers, scientist could not predict this. <br />As I watched in tears surrounded by fears. <br />I asked myself where my heart is. <br />Living in days where fathers burry their sons. <br />In days where graveyards are filled in minutes. <br />In days where love seem not to exist. <br />I watched as a son looked into the eyes of his father. <br />And a daughter looked into the eyes of her mother. <br />And with tears running down their faces they asked. <br />What is the meaning of love? <br />What is the meaning of trust? <br />What is the meaning of happiness? <br />But most of all will we ever see the day of happiness? <br />Or we just are going to learn it from the book written by man like me and you? <br />Does love only exist on the fairy tales stories that mothers reads to us before we sleep? <br />I watched with a shuttered heart. <br />Uncountable tears, troubled mind, painful soul. <br />By this time my whole body was weak, words were lost I could not even speak. <br />I saw a father looked into the eyes of his son. <br />A mother looked into the eyes of her daughter. <br />With tears rolling down they said: I LOVE YOU<br /><br />Tana David Kele<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/tears-of-the-heart-4/
