I've a lion and tiger brother, <br />For 13 years we've been together. <br />Police were quite dismayed, <br />To find us during a drug raid, <br />Back in 2001, <br />Since then life's been fun. <br />You can find us all hairy, <br />In Noah's Ark sanctuary, <br />Near the capital Atlanta, <br />Of the state of Georgia. <br /> <br />I'm Baloo the bear, <br />But please don't stare, <br />At how much I weigh, <br />Instead watch us play. <br />I like to lounge in the pool, <br />With my friends as a rule, <br />And eat fruity snacks, <br />While I relax. <br />Together we three, <br />Are known as BLT, <br />And I'm in charge, <br />Being so large. <br /> <br />Of our amazing trio, <br />The smallest is Leo. <br />He's a bit lazy, <br />Harmless as a daisy, <br />Likes to sprawl, <br />Play with his blue ball, <br />Or put his arms around trees, <br />And give them a squeeze. <br /> <br />Shere Khan has orange, white and black, <br />Stripes running down his back. <br />He acts the clown, <br />And never slows down, <br />Forever playing like a kitten, <br />Just take care you don't get bitten. <br /> <br />We've always had a special connection, <br />And love to show each other affection. <br />We may appear quite distinct, <br />But we're so very closely linked. <br />If you think family has to be related, <br />Your view is really quite dated. <br />Whatever the weather, <br />We work well together. <br /> <br />Please try to get along, <br />With those you think wrong. <br /> <br />Just sing a friendly song. <br /> <br />Take it from a BLT, <br />Family.<br /><br />Stephen Katona<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-bear-lion-and-tiger-family/
