Needling <br />probing <br />pricking <br />piercing <br />pinching <br />pilfering <br />peeping <br />pinning <br />picturising <br />pinking, inking <br />bleeding <br />bubbling <br />bullying <br />bulldozing <br />buffooning <br />buttering <br />basking, budding <br />oh no, rains are my favourites <br />Monsoon comes and I go <br />I just surrender at the feet of Monsoon sky <br /> <br />What do rains do? <br />I don't know, <br />but sure, they drill me in and out <br />they kill me and enliven me <br />they ransack my emotions and passions <br />raid my past, present and future dreams <br />take me out part by part <br />and hang them up in zoomed lot <br />every inch of my being is being tossed up <br />and looked by a magnifying glass cup <br />oh rains, rain clouds, thunder and storm <br />lightning and hurricanes <br />they just wipe me out <br />whip up every single urge within <br />I want to hug the entire world <br />the lovely squirrels, the twittering birds, <br />the untouchable skies, the undiggable earth <br />the ponds, the oceans, the rivers and brooks <br />and mountain peaks and hills and horizon beds <br />Rains they wet me in and out, make me hot and cold <br />I am freezing and fuelling all at the same time <br />wow, just melting and solidifying in one single flame <br />all air speaking in the summitting volumes <br />liquidifying my being to hear, listen <br />and reply and respond with inner vibrations <br />I react without any stop, involuntarily shaking <br />my whole body ignited, enflamed, I wild and crazy <br />oh, the rains are penetrating into my very privacy.<br /><br />lalitha iyer<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/raining-my-heart/
