It seems that there were lots of private zoos <br />in the 70's and animals were released <br />a few must've survived. <br /> <br />People laugh about it <br />but these cats are out there <br /> <br />I have been 6 ft from one on Bodmin Moor <br />it calmly walked across the front of my car one day <br />I know there were 28 other reports of said beast <br />at the same time. <br />That was reports. <br />I didn't report them <br />neither did my mother <br />who saw it on two separate occasions <br />in a different place to me <br /> <br />Some years ago I saw a large cat-like creature <br />cross a road 100 yards from me <br />on Cannock Chase <br />Staffordshire <br /> <br />It was certainly no domestic animal <br />and others witnessed this appearance too <br />head of a lioness <br />tail of a lion <br />with a prowling gait... <br /> <br />I have no doubt there are wild animals on the loose in the UK. <br />Seeing is believing. <br /> <br />We have one prowling the grounds of our new home. <br />It's been helping itself to sheep. <br /> <br />anything that can drag a sheep <br />10ft up a tree is probably not <br />an overgrown moggy. <br /> <br />They are wise to stay hidden in the wild <br />it would be tragic if they were hunted down <br />and exhibited captive. <br /> <br />Leave them be. <br /> <br />Bears and wolves next then Britain will be complete again.<br /><br />Cynthia Fielding<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/british-big-cats/
