Shania K. Younce - 'Nightmare of 'Annabel Lee'

Twas very and very long ago.
In a place I dare to go.
That a dream withered there whom you may not know.
By the old man of three.
For this dream died with no other thought.
To be torn and torn by thee.

The dream was old and so was he.
In this place I dare to go.
So, we died and we died with more than death.
With a tempest crown and child's frown.
We lived only to see.

Twas this the reason we long let go?
In this place I dare to go.
So, struck a thunder bolt, frozen.
This dispassionate belief.
So, that my love would not await.
To keep thee here and always made free.
To unmarked doors; faraway.
In this place I dare to stay.

The dream, ever so tempered and not sweet.
Neither one we envied, so.
No one knew this story never told, in this place we rather go.
That thunder struck by day.
Living and living to be let free.

But, our harmony was harmed by pro-longed death.
By those which our younger than all of we.
Whom, we saw dumbfounded by the sea.
Neither, the castaways found below loved.
Nor the fish in the river of screams could sleep.
Forever, dissever a dream from a dream.
Of the hearts that beats within me.

For I dream this place of mind and body.
Of a screaming me.
In my darkened eyes you rise to thee.
Of a screaming me.
And, in all this place, I lie still, thrashing.
Of a warm less- warm less- thee and I.
In this place we dare to dream.
In this tomb we roam free.

Shania K.
