Pairs of little birds <br />Perching in the tree <br />Nearby the house we resides <br />They are supposedly telling <br />The stories of their life. <br /> <br />The discussions I suppose <br />About the family and future <br />Castles they are making <br />In their imaginations and vision. <br /> <br />Pairs of little birds <br />Beautiful colors in feathers <br />Nice to see them in morning <br />Their sounds always gives pleasure <br /> <br />There planning of life in talks <br />Continues in their own languages <br />Unable to understand <br />For a human being like me. <br /> <br />Their castles the beautiful nests <br />The nests they make in large trees <br />The Branches of trees they opts <br />Wonderful creativity in building nests. <br /> <br />Selection of materials from nature <br />The dried sticks and wires of bushes <br />Glittering papers sometimes takes <br />One thing they makes sure <br />The tree tops of the giant trees <br />With sound standing in the earth. <br /> <br />Pairs of little trees <br />Coming in the morning in the compound <br />To find out something to eat <br />And to say something as a visitor <br />I enjoys their different body languages <br />As a child in its own innocence <br />And smiles to the mother beautifully. <br /> <br />Birds, nature's own wonderful creature <br />Their sounds always makes soothing effect <br />Our hardships we forget if we listen <br />They are the prettiest of the world.<br /><br />Gangadharan nair Pulingat..<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/pair-of-birds/
