the way we love our dogs <br />makes me think about how corruption can thrive <br />in this poor third world country as ours <br /> <br />we like them fat and good looking <br />shiny noses and big feet and we like their <br />barks to be fierce and respectful <br />and so we feed them well <br />take a walk with them on early mornings and <br />late afternoons <br />and we let them inside the house and put them <br />on their own dog-houses <br /> <br />hence they all remain loyal to a pampering master <br />siding with them whether they are right or wrong <br />(they do not know anymore how to discern right from wrong <br />i think) <br />and whatever happens <br />the master is always right <br />like the way it keeps the bones and the steaks <br />in the closet <br /> <br />mind you, you haven't heard of a well-fed dog <br />barking against their masters.<br /><br />RIC S.
