I was walking along the footpath <br /> <br />Leading to the local park <br /> <br />The sun was shining down <br /> <br />The grass green and birds <br /> <br />Flying around…I could see the ducks <br /> <br />Swimming in the pond as my dog <br /> <br />Ran around my legs then shot off <br /> <br />To see what that rustle in the distance was <br /> <br />The warmth of the rays made me smile <br /> <br />My dog barking in the distance <br /> <br />At something that tried to run away <br /> <br />The birds singing to each other like a sweet <br /> <br />Musical rhythm to life…oh what a beautiful sight <br /> <br />It's wonderful to just get away <br /> <br />And embrace nature's wonderful delights<br /><br />Kaila George<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/natures-delight-s/
