Why do they stay silent in the hallways? <br />We dodge and avoid loud obnoxious eyes, <br />We're silent but echoing screams and shouts, <br />Waiting for the moment to end loud mouths. <br /> <br />Our words are cold, dull, and expressionless, <br />Sometimes somewhat quite angry and hostile, <br />Only because you're seen as a great threat, <br />A fake, trying to sought something from us. <br /> <br />We dissolve in crowds, looking for our own. <br />However, we stick out like a sore thumb, <br />Alone, we are the prey of your torture, <br />We don't need your false pity or concern <br /> <br />Silence, an only escape from being judged, <br />Yet, in silence we still suffer being judged.<br /><br />Aisling Chia<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/introverted-victims/
