Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic has crashed during a test flight in California.<br /><br />Two pilots were onboard the suborbital spacecraft named SpaceShipTwo as it underwent its first powered test flight since January.<br /><br />Reports says one person has died and another is seriously injured.<br /><br />The vessel has been developed to carry people to the edge of the space where, for a few minutes, they can experience weightlessness.<br /><br />More than 800 people have paid or put down deposits to fly aboard the spacecraft.<br /><br />The accident is the second this week by a U.S. space company.<br /><br />On Tuesday, an Orbital Sciences Antares rocket exploded 15 seconds after liftoff from Virginia.
