<p>Costa Rica’s Turrialba volcano experienced its largest eruption in 150 years on October 30. The force of the explosion was such that ash <a class="link" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.scmp.com/news/world/article/1629253/costa-rica-issues-emergency-alert-volcanic-ash-hits-san-jose" target="_blank">was reported</a> in the nation’s capital city of San Jose, some 35km away.
