More than 50 people are reported dead and over 100 others have been wounded in a suicide attack on Pakistan’s border with India.<br /><br />A senior Pakistani Taliban commander has claimed responsibility for the blast which happened after a daily ceremony at the Wagah border crossing that always attracts crowds.<br /><br />The suicide bomber struck as people were heading home. Women and children are among the casualties. Some of the around 120 people injured are said to be in a serious condition.<br /><br />India says its side of the crossing was not affected.<br /><br />Huge crowds visit the Wagah border crossing near the Pakistani city of Lahore to witness the flags of both countries being lowered just before sunset.
