I moved ahead about four decades <br />From my childhood love <br />I could not forget a single moment <br />Live like a loving dove, <br />The memories settled in my mind <br />To preserve and to say <br />Its look like the fresh and green <br />Just happened yesterday. <br /> <br />I remember that particular moment <br />I touched her finger <br />When she offered me at her home <br />A glass of lime water <br />When I close my eyes and go back <br />I see my first kissing <br />Taken behind the temple of Shiva <br />Being suddenly missing. <br /> <br />Our hairs are now black and white <br />Living on each other's support <br />Children are staying out of reach <br />Proceed as per medical report <br />The days have gone decades ago <br />Memories left to ruminate and rub <br />Wrinkles appeared on the sun-burn skin <br />But still enjoy the childhood love.<br /><br />Asit Kumar Sanyal<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/childhood-love-4/
