When sun was shining bright. <br />I went into the field of corns. <br />There I saw a tree very large. <br />Filled with flowers and thorns. <br /> <br />Changed eyes with man on left; <br />And then carefully saw the tree. <br />Flowers could not be spotted. <br />Only thorns appeared to me. <br /> <br />Changed eyes with man on right; <br />And then carefully saw the tree. <br />Thorns could not be spotted. <br />Only flowers appeared to me. <br /> <br />Was that tree really a tree; <br />Or kind of magic in disguise. <br />Was that tree really changing; <br />Or twas due to changing of eyes?<br /><br />Md.
