The nights are coming earlier <br />and the days are growing shorter. <br />The frost is on the ground <br />and bees cannot be found. <br /> <br />The warm days are all but done, <br />rain, maybe snow has begun. <br />The trees stand stark almost bare, <br />you rake dead leaves in the cool crisp air. <br /> <br />Time for the Earth to shutdown, <br />until Spring comes back around. <br />Now, begins the football season <br />and remember to vote with wisdom. <br /> <br />Also time to honor the Veterans <br />and all the tribes of the Native Americans. <br />Then, settle down to a Thanksgiving feast, <br />remembering to praise God at the least.<br /><br />Alesia Leach<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/november-17/
