Everybody has a story to tell <br />The story of how their life's been so far <br />Everything good, to anything bad, sick or well <br />Times that have touched their hearts, to times <br />that have left scars <br /> <br />Everybody has a story to tell <br />From doing something heroic or becoming a star <br />Or maybe living all your life in wealth <br />Then a tragedy occurs, now your living in a car <br /> <br />Everybody has a story to tell <br />Tell me what yours would be <br />Would it be about times you've soared or times <br />you fell <br />And tell me so far, what have your eye's seen <br /> <br />Everybody has a story to tell <br />So has yours been like mine <br />Do you feel you've failed more than you've <br />excelled <br />And do you sometimes feel like your running <br />out of time <br /> <br />So does everybody have a story to tell <br />Or do some out there live in silence <br />For their story is so sad our hearts would melt <br />Knowing they're stuck in a world of abuse or <br />maybe violence <br /> <br />So the answer is yes, everybody has a story to <br />tell <br />Even if they don't tell it <br />For if we could just try to look into people's <br />hearts and see where they dwell <br />Their story would not have to speak the words to <br />tell it! <br /> <br />Everybody has a story to tell <br />What's yours?<br /><br />Katherine Perry<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/everybody-has-a-story-to-tell-2/
