At least 24 bodies have been recovered in the Bosphorus Strait in Istanbul after the sinking of a boat thought to be carrying illegal migrants.<br /><br />Seven people are reported to have been rescued.<br /><br />Local media say some 40 people are thought to have been on board the stricken vessel.<br /><br />Search and rescue operations continue in the area, near the Black Sea end of the Bosphorus.
