FIRST DAY OF MY SCHOOL <br /> <br /> <br />As I cross my childhood field, <br />I gotta go to school. <br />The beginning of my real life, <br />My history to be everlasting. <br />With full of surprise, fear, nervous, and more. <br />On the way of my home to school. <br />While working through with my mom, <br />A fear making me nervous. <br />And nervous making me shy, <br />A shy making me confused. <br />I tight hold my mom's hand. <br />As my heart beat so fast, <br />And once I saw my school gate. <br />My tears start bursting. <br />As all unknown, <br />All new view, <br />All new friends, <br />And my old ones already forward, <br />Wishing still my old friends may patch me again. <br />But I was wrong, <br />And once I entered, leaving my mama hand, <br />I start walking alone, <br />Looking behind and shaking my hand towards mom. <br />But soon I enter the play ground, <br />My throat so dry, <br />My coarse so perfect, <br />All with cluster dress like me. <br />And my days so lonely, <br />As lonely is the first step of joy, <br />I seem so smart, <br />As my other fallow watching me, <br />As if am James bone, <br />But I was too shy at their big eyes. <br />Soon when the school got quite, <br />All my fears leaped away, <br />And at last came to my home was too heavy, <br />As it the first day of my school. <br /> <br /> <br />By Nehemiah T.
