To wetness the day alights, <br />Towards the horizon of pain <br />Painting its face with grimace; <br />As the night outstrips the day <br />The glimmer of hope is not erased <br />For the actions of the forefathers. <br />Switching to the devastation of the day <br />Is like a night of entrails and sewage, <br />Opening the doors to plight. <br />A hellish brew has been mashed <br />With pride, as the Earth <br />Revolves around us all <br />As we speak in ways of the moon. <br />To wetness we have achieved the satellite <br />So occurring in plight, so barren like bait. <br />We offer our praise to pills and pillars <br />Of this late hour that mutters a politeness. <br />The moons always enjoy the right <br />Of their families, to revolve and evolve <br />In ways of righteousness.<br /><br />Naveed Akram<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-day-has-a-light/
