The temptations of life <br />Comes now so bold and strong <br />That the minds of our children struggle <br />To believe whats right from wrong. <br /> <br />The invitations of life <br />Cause the hearts of parents to worry and moan <br />Yet their hope anticipates the freedom day <br />When their children are all grown. <br /> <br />The imitations of life <br />Makes it hard for any to discern <br />Its hard to do the best you can <br />When who really cares what you've learned. <br /> <br />The reality of life <br />Springs forth and is not hard to find <br />For God has designated someone for you <br />Whose hearts are gentle and kind. <br /> <br />The motive of life <br />Is to stand regardless of the test <br />To be prayerful and obedient <br />And then God will do the rest.<br /><br />Cecelia Weir<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/really-life/
