How can a global society believe, <br />in something they cannot perceive? <br />There are ten thousand religions, <br />Within this world's regions. <br /> <br />Some worship animism others worship a different god, <br />That they have invented so on others they can trod, <br />And have them tithe to support a parasite, <br />Not much better than a blood sucking mite! <br /> <br />it's all about control folks, so listen up, <br />it's your money from which they sup, <br />Some may even believe the garbage they tout, <br />Having their congregation wave their arms and shout! <br /> <br />How can anyone with a mind, <br />Understand how a preacher can be so unkind, <br />As to have his group act so foolishly, <br />And believing immortality could ever be? <br /> <br />To ignore what has been proven beyond a doubt, <br />What this Earth our home is all about, <br />No deity, just a planet with a sun, <br />And life forms that live, die, and it's done! <br /> <br />No other place will they go to live again, <br />Just the lies that the preachers spin, <br />To have control of their flocks, <br />And the human race, this mocks!<br /><br />Franklin J.
