Wandering through life, <br />Taking each day as it comes. <br />There are good days, <br />And there are bad days, <br />Where things never seem to be right. <br /> <br />Many do stumble, <br />Many do fall, <br />There are some who fly, <br />There are some who die. <br /> <br />Life’s journey is different for everyone, <br />Some seek out to achieve their goals, <br />Others just don’t care enough, <br />And land up living off the dole. <br /> <br />Wandering through life, <br />Taking each day as it comes. <br />We think our lives will be perfect, <br />And we take many things for granted. <br /> <br />We complain about our food, <br />Yet there are people who are starving. <br />We complain about the cold, <br />Yet there are people who are freezing. <br /> <br />We complain about the health care system, <br />Yet there are people out there who don’t have one at all, <br />And many premature babies die shortly after birth. <br />We complain that out teachers are not that good, <br />Yet there are people out there who don’t have one at all. <br /> <br />We complain about this, <br />We complain about that, <br />We take things for granted, <br />And help only ourselves. <br /> <br />There are people who suffer, <br />And struggle to survive, <br />Yet we don’t hear them complaining, <br />They just want to stay alive. <br /> <br />We’re all just wandering through life, <br />Taking each day as it comes. <br /> <br />(c) Selina Gurgacz 2009<br /><br />Selina Gurgacz<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/wandering-through-life-taking-each-day-as-it-comes/
