i dont think it matters anymore - not to you, atleast. <br />i know i still care though; its all i think about; you are all i breathe. <br />but like suffocation... you, my breath, are no longer inside of me. <br />i try to fill my lungs with life, with you, but i take in lonelinesss and pain instead. <br />my body is living off of death, thriving on your memory alone. <br />i reach out my hand, gasping for air, grasping for some one to save me, but i fall short. <br />my palm holds nothing but wind. <br />no one cares; nothing is there but silence. <br />so i have stopped trying to breathe. <br />not that it wasted my energy, but every time i tried, i just died again. and i have drowned one too many times.<br /><br />One Girl<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/im-slowly-going-down/
