Two South African policemen may have regretted stopping for a snack after robbers stole their guns in broad daylight – and in full view of a camera, not to mention several other diners. <br /> <br />The robbery was captured on a surveillance camera of a business near the popular snack stall – with four men pouncing on the officers as they tucked in, before locking them inside their van. <br /> <br />This being South Africa, the robbers didn’t have long to enjoy their gains – as soon as the officers got out with help from the public, they chased the suspects, guns blazing. <br />Police spokesman Nevillle Malila said, ‘The suspects lost control of their vehicle and fired several shots at the police who returned fire. No injuries were reported.’ <br /> <br />Three suspects were arrested – and the officers retrieved their own guns from the gang.
