Bereaved, <br />We got the news and believed. <br />That our daughters will be freed; <br />And Nafisat, too, one of them. <br />Joyed, back to my Quran, my creed <br />I rendered thanksgiving - solemn! <br />. <br />Though, <br />Nafisat, I know <br />Would have been assaulted <br />With knives on her neck lowered. <br />My daughter, my jewel; unclothed <br />For her buxomity - deflowered! <br />. <br />Deeply agonised, <br />Like a mad man, disorganised. <br />When the haramists, the abductors insisted <br />That no ceasefire was ever reached. <br />Alas!
