I now return to Baskers <br />to days of long ago <br />When you and I were one <br />and together we did grow <br /> <br />To you my lady sunshine <br />to the laughter that we shared <br />when all our time was magic <br />when we liv'd without a care <br /> <br />We walked within our Gardens <br />and the flowers we did tend <br />where happiness was e're more <br />as our love it knows no end <br /> <br />You were always in my eyes <br />my heart and in my view <br />where everyday was special <br />where everyday was new <br /> <br />The years we spent together <br />as we grew closer every day <br />as we were joined in spirit <br />and together we did stay <br /> <br />We were both so happy <br />We were both complete <br />In our land of hopeful <br />because we did believe <br /> <br />Where we found doors oft closed <br />seemed to open many others <br />that every day was filled <br />with greater love and wonder <br /> <br />Every thing made sense <br />there was no hurt nor grief <br />every prayer was answered <br />as the gift of loves relief <br /> <br />This Baskers can be real <br />its the place I'd like to be <br />and As I Paint this Picture <br />it is the place I'd like to see.<br /><br />Cee Bea<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/baskers-two/
