I'll never be anybody's hero or the legend of a story <br />Or a saint that's bound for glory but even a simple man wants to feel this way... <br />I'll never write a song that lasts forever or a book for all the ages. <br />I’ll just sit here and listen.... to all your words and stories <br />Then maybe. I'll understand.... <br />I'm just another page in history one that you would skip if it was a book. <br />I'm some one you would work past on the street and never take a second look. <br />Just another face, another life... wasted bound for nothing, an endless path. <br />Another broken heart that time may heal. <br />Nothing but friends to live for... <br />Only to bare witness to their happiness and sadness. Heart ache <br />I wait......
