I never realized what she meant to me, <br />Until today when I held her in my arms <br />And she gazed into my eyes <br />As if I was the only thing she saw. <br /> <br />At that moment, <br /> I realized nothing else matters. <br />I gave up caring whether or not I have someone in the end; <br />I will always have her even if I end up alone. <br /> <br />She sees everything in me, <br />And knows nothing of my past, <br />She barely knows m y present. <br />Because of that, <br />She hands her life over to me. <br /> <br />I know of nothing of my life, <br />That can compare to the bond she and I share. <br />Is this what being an older sister is all about? <br />Is it having faith in the moment and not focusing on the past?<br /><br />M.E.
