Sometimes fact really is stranger than fiction...<br/> <br />A cameraman for an Australian TV network was on his way to cover a domestic attack incident, when a man flagged him down on the side of the road.<br/> <br />The man, it turns out, was the suspect involved in the attack.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) GUNMAN, IDENTIFIED BY AUSTRALIAN MEDIA AS JORDY BROOKS SAYING:<br/> <br />"I just hope that she's all right, I think she's dead."<br/> <br />After a sometimes tearful conversation with the cameraman, the suspect then jumped into the news vehicle, pointed a gun at the cameraman, then sped off.... all while the cameraman was rolling.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) CHANNEL SEVEN CAMERAMAN, PETER STEER SAYING:<br/> <br />"I wanted to get that shot of him with the gun but I didn't want to get shot, you know."<br/> <br />Eventually, the suspect crashed the car and ran barefooted through a gas station where he was apprehended by police.<br/> <br />Media say he's been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm with an intent
