(This is a fictional poem but it could easily be true.) <br /> <br />He never wore his seatbelt even though it's a law here in Tennessee. <br />I begged him to wear his seatbelt but he never listened to me. <br />We went to a person's house on Christmas eve who was throwing a big bash. <br />On our way back we had a bad crash. <br />I was wearing my seatbelt and I was still alive. <br />But when I looked, I saw that my friend didn't survive. <br />At his funeral I cried a river of tears. <br />Life would be so much better if he was still here.<br /><br />Randy Johnson<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/river-of-tears-2/
