Dream, a lonely dream is all have in the life’s stream… <br />Dream, a lovely dream is all i see in the moments umpteen <br />Some dreams are reflection of my desires <br />Some dreams are the like the raging fire <br />Some dreams stay with me for ever <br />Some walk along my side like stranger <br /> <br />In the dreams I see faces strange yet some of them leave me in outrage <br />In some of the dreams I stroll in the gardens of leisure with peace by my shoulder <br />I see fire, I see rain, I see love, I see hate, far away I see a gate <br />A gate to heaven far away yet so close, I see it bright night after night <br />Awake I lie in the bed upright, each time I see this gate of delight <br /> <br />Tonight resolute to cross the gate, I slept quite <br />Soon I saw the gate of gold open there in my sight <br />I ran to the gate of desires, to see myself on the other side <br />I saw thee self happy and gay, amidst the clouds sans dismay <br />I held out my hand to open the gate, like child irate.. <br />Little did I know that I stood devant the mirror of my heart, where happiness resides ever…for all.. <br />Yet I saw not the happiness hidden in me………….<br /><br />sri tista<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/dreams-my-shadows/
