Surat: Gammon India, the contractors for the proposed cable-stayed bridge, will meet officials of Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC). The project has been delayed by over a year, much to the chagrin of the SMC. The company earlier said that the durability testing of cables could not be performed due to non-availability of testing time in a lab in Switzerland.
