What would you do when you meet someone with a dark heart?
This person has a heart black as coal,
Even black as death.
You know not whether to trust this person or not,
What if he has done a number of evil things?
You decide to trust him,
Not really thinking about what he could do.
You follow him to wherever,
And he takes you by surprise.
He takes you to his place,
Where you play some around.
Later when he’s asleep
You decide to look around.
What you find is something disturbing,
You’ve found out who he is,
And what he did.
Seconds later you scream,
For he’s found you looking.
“I thought you were asleep, ”
You say shaking with fear.
“No, never. I never sleep when I have company, ”
He says evilly.
You try to run, try to scream,
But it is too late.
He grabs you by the hair,
And you start to stare.
Minutes later screaming is heard,
But only for seconds.
No one can hear,
For you are in an abandoned area.
Late at night,
When nobody is out,
You are dragged to a dock.
Your blood is everywhere,
Even in the air.
You are tossed into a bay,
You are now dead.
Days later you are found,
By a fishermen none the less.
Though you can not speak,
Your story is still told.
News the next day,
He is found.
Dark hearted and all.

Sara Tober

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/dark-hearted-2/
