A child cries in the distance, <br />For n one's to hear... The pain of a child, <br />Is so very sad to hear... Governments fight over land, boundaries, <br />Gold, oil, timber and such... The children are the greatest <br />Commodity that is on this earth... But the little children are <br />Starved, beaten, and abused... No praise, joy or laughter can <br />Be heard within their tears... They live in the sewers, and in the <br />Streets; ignored and pushed aside... The boundaries must be broken; <br />If a child is to survive... Or soon there shall not be heard... <br />The cry of a child.<br /><br />Alice E.
