Fluffy, cumulus clouds roll by <br />Over, under, and through the sky. <br />Gliding slowly with lots of pride <br />I think to myself I'd like a ride. <br />Individually or in groups <br />They have funny shapes, lines, and loops. <br />Sun rays reflect and make them shine like a gem <br />So that only moonstones can compare with them. <br />Towering high and tall above us <br />The wind blows on them and creates a fuss. <br />Hovering above our tiny house <br />They make me feel like an insignificant mouse. <br />Dividing only into pairs <br />Covering the world like it is theirs. <br />Sitting there looking at a strange figure <br />Wondering in the days to come will it endure?<br /><br />David C.
