I saw some butterflies flutter by <br />They make my garden come alive <br />They light on the pansies and the petunias too <br />Then flutter on in a second or two <br />Oh pretty butterfly <br />Your iridescent wings in many hues <br />Attract my attention to you <br />Oh pretty butterfly <br />Gone is the summer and the butterfly too <br />I wonder where they have gone, don't you? <br />But I know they will come back next <br />summer to flutter in my garden anew.<br /><br />Evelyn Gillies<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/butterfly-12/
