The young preacher stood in front of the <br /> podium, looking nervously at the crowd. <br /> He pulled the mike close and spoke in a <br /> voice real loud,, I am here to minister to you <br /> sinners, I only have one goal, that's to help <br /> you with your problems and to try to save <br /> your soul <br /> Listen closely to what I tell you,don't judge <br /> me by what I do, because I am a human <br /> being, I am a sinner just like you. <br /> We live in a nation under God, I love to see <br /> her flag unfurled, and if we live by God's <br /> commandments, we will be the happiest <br /> people in the world. <br /> Remember that Satan is sitting out there . .. he <br /> is trying to get control. <br /> I am begging you people to change your <br /> ways before he owns your soul. <br /> Now, you young folks out there are abusing <br /> sex, which is the very essence of ones life, <br /> and a young man that wishes to get married <br /> can't find a virgin for a wife. <br /> You throw God's law out of the window and <br /> drink until you're plastered, you find a place <br /> to have your sex and produce another <br /> bastard. <br /> These words may sound harsh to you but the <br /> truth is in the book... the definition is in the <br /> dictionary if you take the time to look. <br /> You young girls are considering abortion.. let <br /> me give you this information.. you would be <br /> committing the sin of murder to cover the sin <br /> of fornication. <br /> So it we want to save ourselves and to avoid <br /> God's wrath..we had better read the Ten <br /> Commandments and get ourselves back on <br /> the path.. <br /> Let's work together and by the law abide, <br /> I guarantee that you will be happier when you <br /> have God on your side. <br /> I will end my sermon with this note <br /> It may have some bearing on your fate. <br /> when the usher comes around be generous <br /> to the plate.<br /><br />Frank H.
