<i>Air -- "Mount Vernon"</i> <br /> <br /> <br />Dearest Minnie, she has left us, <br />In this world of grief and woe, <br />But 'tis God that has bereft us, <br />He called her little soul to go. <br /> <br />Minnie's gone to dwell in heaven, <br />Where bright little angels reign. <br />Her little soul has reached a haven <br />Where there is no grief and pain. <br /> <br />God will bless his little treasurers, <br />One by one, that come to Him; <br />Though she has left this world forever, <br />We will put our trust in Him. <br /> <br />Oh! we loved our little dear one, <br />It's no human tongue can tell -- <br />God has called her to come to him, <br />Yet he doeth all things well. <br /> <br />Oh!
