(Only the last line of this poem is fictional.) <br /> <br />Back in the eighties Coca-Cola did something so ridiculous that it had to be a joke. <br />I'm talking about when they made the new Coke. <br />I nearly puked when I tasted it, it tasted worse than diet coke. <br />People didn't buy it and Coca-Cola nearly went broke. <br />They made the new Coke taste better but people still didn't want to drink it anymore. <br />They finally started back using the original formula like they did before. <br />Every so often, a really bad idea comes. <br />As we saw on the Simpsons, the inventor of the new Coke was fired and became a bum.<br /><br />Randy Johnson<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/new-coke/
