(This is a fictional poem) <br /> <br />My ex-wife tried to kill me. <br />Day after day she put arsenic in my coffee. <br />I don't have a lot of money and she was never satisfied. <br />She took out a life insurance policy and she would've gotten a quarter of a million if I had died. <br />She started running up my credit card bill and that caused us to bicker. <br />I was in a lot of pain and as each day passed, I got sicker. <br />I'm very thankful that my daughter learned what was going on. <br />If she hadn't went to the police, I'd be gone. <br />When the person who you love turns out to be your worst enemy, it cuts deep like a knife. <br />Now she's going to be in jail for a long time and I'm grateful that she's out of my life.<br /><br />Randy Johnson<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/it-cuts-deep/
