Aside from the latent yet blatant homoeroticism that smiled on exhibit at Alain and Eugene’s party most things were exactly as they seemed. A few unapproachable topics weaved unsteadily in and out of the minds of guests but most were justly drowned out; poured on as it were by waves of trivia and wet bursts of screaming. Gifts were anointed and importance discussed. A few familiar faces scuttled and slept while more established guests sat on the slumberous with Korsakoffian grace and Freudian aims. <br />The end came soon (truthfully, sooner that it should have been) but a decision was made to move, and as is usually the case, thought was reasonably followed by action… still, other action’s fell exhausted and hesitant(chainmotive<br /><br />R.J.
