Lonely: Having a feeling of depression or sadness resulting from the consciousness of being alone; lonesome <br />So says Mr. Webster, but then how does he know <br />Was he this lonely, was he ever this low <br />He may have defined death but did he ever think it <br />Mix a lil to much alcohol together, a bit wormwood, then drink it <br />So he defined contemplate to but did he have much to think about <br />I think so long and hard on past deeds it makes me want to shout <br />Crying is no release when your sorrows never die <br />I always see demons from my past, they look me eye to eye <br />I keep bringing them up and I really don’t know why <br />It’s a vicious circle that will repeat until the day I die <br />Or until I can’t take it anymore and let my veins run dry<br /><br />Christopher Taber<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/lonely-7/
