I Found Christmas <br />When God found me. <br />He freed me from this world <br />Which before in my mind <br />I certainly did not see. <br /> <br />Like Christmas feelings <br />My ways He laid aside. <br />To give lots of love and toys <br />And gifts of joy <br />During the Christmas tide. <br /> <br />No matter how bad <br />The children are <br />The parents always give. <br />To sacrifice and show their love <br />Because in them they live. <br /> <br />It was just like Christmas <br />For it was just like God <br />To make it Christmas to me. <br />To show me His goodness <br />And open my eyes to see. <br /> <br />I thank God <br />I Found Christmas. <br />When Christ, the Baby Jesus, found me <br />And to see His blessings everyday <br />Is the Christmas now I see. <br /> <br />Christ being born on this day <br />Like Him being born in me. <br />Gave me a chance <br />To tell a dying world <br />He saved a wretch like me. <br /> <br />So search in your heart <br />Find where your Christmas may be. <br />And discover a whole new world <br />Celebrating your life <br />For God in your soul is free.<br /><br />Cecelia Weir<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-found-christmas-x-mas/
