Your flower garden is in bloom again. <br />Hummingbirds and butterflies wing to and fro. <br />The world is young and full of hope again <br />And you are with me where ever I go. <br /> <br />The first time I saw you I cried. <br />I felt we had met somewhere before. <br />In the light, two old friends once denied <br />Were—with mercy— together, once more. <br /> <br />Mysteries of life are very strange; <br />But truth in the universe is set. <br />With dogma, we fret, change and rearrange. <br />What wisdom did we know and then forget? <br /> <br />In a special time, not so long ago <br />Your spirit and your sparkle charged the air. <br />You would appear and everyone would know <br />You were energy, with sunbeams in your hair. <br /> <br />The world will never be the same again. <br />For a while I'll cry for me; and then <br />I'll smile and know for all eternity— <br />I have your love, and we shall meet again. <br /> <br />(April 4, 2004) <br />Copyright ©2004<br /><br />Sarah L.
