In the light of the night <br />The stars out tonight set the mood <br />I can see her as she stands before me <br />Beneath the moon <br />As I embrace her and I hold her tight <br />I can feel her breath upon me <br />So is the chance we take of romance <br />For tonight will come love soon <br /> <br />As I kiss her lips like strawberry wine <br />The fragrance of her hair <br />Burns in my mind <br />And I can feel her heart beating <br />And I find <br />The earth has fallen away <br />And so has time <br /> <br />As we embrace <br />And I'm holding her near <br />Her beauty overtakes me <br />As she lets down her hair <br />I'm overwhelmed <br />Of all that I see <br />As her clothes fall away <br />As though never were there <br /> <br />And so is the art <br />As we open our hearts <br />As we love <br />Throughout the night <br />I wonder if she knows <br />Just how much <br />My love it grows <br />And how much <br />I do love her tonight.<br /><br />Bill Simmons<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/beneath-the-moon/
