Inferior minds do tend to clutter <br />these pages with their endless drivel, <br />why is it that they're glad to mutter <br />their thoughts from convoluted swivel <br />of little substance to the world? <br />Do they not know that greener grasses <br />exist and if the truth were hurled <br />they would perceive it with their asses. <br /> <br />Would it not be so much more pleasant <br />if real poets post their stuff, <br />it always bugs me if a peasant <br />whose thinking is a little rough <br />presents his rubbish for display <br />as if by typing it (with errors) <br />it gains in value, let me say <br />it should be clear that from the narrows <br />of Dullards nothing much can ooze, <br />so may I give a quick suggestion <br />lock yourself in and sing your blues <br />into your mirror, where the question <br />of ridicule does not exist. <br /> <br />Then we could go and read what AJS, <br />or Lenchen, Tiff' and Jodilee, <br />what Janice, Rich and R.C (bless) <br />and Joyce and Amberlee set free <br />from fertile minds and lovely souls <br />that give us pleasure and much smiles, <br />those are the ones to fill the roles <br />of travellers who down the miles <br />will be companions sorely missed <br />should they decide to fall behind <br />perhaps if hugged and sweetly kissed <br />they see the light and change their mind. <br />And when they write something so clever <br />that one sits up and takes quick note <br />it shows us that the losers never <br />should have received the right to vote.<br /><br />Herbert Nehrlich<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/poets-that-drivel-and-snivel/
