In the jungle the lion is king. <br />To placate him the birds all do sing. <br />But watch out for the leopard <br />and his guardian, the shepherd. <br />They do form a familiar ring. <br /> <br />When the hunger starts bugging the leopard, <br />he could eat his old friend Mr. Shepherd. <br />But his honour runs deep <br />so they go after sheep <br />all the meat goes to leopard and shepherd. <br /> <br />Then the lion awakes from his nap. <br />Tells his females that all this is crap. <br />He runs after the leopard <br />but gets killed by the shepherd <br />and the little hyenas, they clap.<br /><br />Herbert Nehrlich<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/limerick-practice/
