Have you ever noticed <br />how some people look away? <br />They turn their head and watch the ground <br />untill you walk away. <br /> <br />What is it they're afraid of? <br />What is it that they see? <br />Don't they know we're all alike? <br />We're all HIS family. <br /> <br />The peace I need is hard to find <br />in a world so torn by hate. <br />Why can't we see things eye to eye? <br />Is it that hard to relate? <br /> <br />The differences we share <br />make each of us unique. <br />Then why is it when we look around <br />the world just seems so bleak? <br /> <br />If ever you should pass me <br />please hold your head up high. <br />I may not know just how you feel <br />but I promise I will try.<br /><br />Mary Nagy<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/our-differences-2/
